8.15am – Coffee, registration and networking

 

8.50am – arrival of Guest of Honour Ms Lim Soo Hoon, Chairman NLB and PS Public Service Division

 

8.55am – Conference opening and introduction of Guest of Honour

 

9.00am – Opening Address by Ms Lim Soo Hoon

 

9.25am – President’s Address: “Professional Development: Taking KM Seriously in Singapore” by Patrick Lambe

 

 

10.00am – networking break

 

 

10.20am – Country Reports on KM activities and trends in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia

 

                  Les Hales President of the Hong Kong Knowledge Management Society,

                  Naguib Chowdhury of Malaysia’s KMTalk.net, and Professor Jann,

                  Hidajat Tjakraatmadja President of the KM Society of Indonesia.

 

 

11.00am – International Keynote: “How to Build Competencies in Knowledge Management” by Ron Young

 

11.30am – “A KM Competency Framework for Singapore KM Practitioners” by Awie Foong, followed by a workshop to validate and apply the framework as a self development tool for KM practitioners.

KM Case Study Café: case studies from Singapore and overseas presented in the following format:

 

  • Registered KM Singapore participants will receive one page summaries of the cases before the conference, so they can select which ones they would like to participate in
  • All the case studies will have 8 minute summary presentations which will be video recorded and podcast later
  • Participants will be able to join up to three round table case discussions hosted by the case presenter
  • Case presenters will give a short debrief on their table discussions which will also be video recorded
